Crab Salad Recipe

Sit back and hold onto your recipe pad cuz boy is this salad delicious. How could it not be? What on earth is better that a nice succulent crab? Nada!
Ingredients -
2 Cups Cooked Cooled Crab Meat (flaked)
1 Cup Celery (diced)
1/4 Cup Chopped Green or Red Bell Pepper
Salt to Taste
1/4 Teaspoon Fresh Ground Black Pepper
1 Tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice
3 Tablespoons Mayonnaise
Mixed Salad Greens
6 Avocado Wedges (optional)
 
Preparation:

1. Mix all ingredients save the mixed greens and the avocado.

2. Serve over mixed greens with a slice of avocado, if desired.

 


Cooking Tip
Lump Crab Meat
If you don’t have access to a live crab, at the grocery store you can get lump crab meat at the seafood counter. Just make sure that you go through it very well so that you get out all the crab shell. You wouldn’t want to chip a tooth.

Bell Pepper
If you prefer you could instead add 1/8 cup of each Red Pepper and Green Pepper. It’s all about you and what your taste buds desire.
